Vintage & Classic Motorcycle Scheme – Quick Quote
This Special Scheme applies to any number of motorcycles manufactured in 1986 and before where the value of an individual machine does not exceed £15,000 and the total value of a collection does not exceed £20,000.
Cover includes Free Breakdown Recovery, Club Organised Rally Use and Agreed Value.
For motorcycles with a value of £1,500 or less, Agreed Value is automatic. More valuable machines will require a Valuation Form and 2 colour photographs, one of which must show the registration plate before the value can be agreed.
To qualify for the Scheme all riders must be aged 21 – 75, full UK licence holders with no more than 4 current penalty points and without a fault claim in the last 3 years.
The motorcycles must not be modified, have a ‘Q’ plate, accessories or be a race style sports bike. The motorcycles must be kept in a locked brick or concrete garage at the owners address.
Use is limited to social, domestic and pleasure for a maximum of 4 riders (if the policy is covering more than one motorcycle a maximum of 1 rider is allowed). Commuting to a permanent place of work or study is permitted but Agreed Values will no longer apply. Motorcycles manufactured in 1971 onwards are limited to 3,000 miles per annum.
If you do not meet the criteria above we can probably still provide a highly competitive quotation. Just call us on 08714 230 200 or fill out our standard on-line Bike Quote form.
A £50 accident damage, fire and theft excess applies, excludes ‘driving other motorcycles’ and personal effects/personal accident cover.
